Weekly Music Sessions in Horsham, Dorking and Chichester...

Our unique and creative sessions are rapidly gaining a reputation as the best musical experience on offer for pre-school children. Currently we are running sessions in Horsham, Dorking, Chichester and Cardiff: bringing music to hundreds of families. The session leaders create an interactive musical space where child and carer can be guided as they explore sounds, shapes, rhythms and rhymes together in a relaxed and stimulating environment. A fun warm-up will often be followed by a series of focussed activities based around the current topic, responding through actions and developing their singing voice from gurgles to songs. We will then explore music more physically, using dance and imaginative play.

Families are then introduced to a specially selected piece of music which they will hear on a high quality PA system and invited to respond creatively: perhaps using movement, hand-held percussion and other stimuli. Most sessions also include time to re-focus before taking all the fun back home to enjoy throughout the week!

Sessions in Dorking take place on Mondays and at the Chichester Festival Theatre on Thursdays.
In Horsham, sessions take place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Cardiff sessions take place throughout the week.
Weekly sessions last for 40 minutes
and take place in groups of same-aged children.
Horsham and Dorking fees are paid termly in advance and are charged at £6 per session,
or £9 for two siblings attending the same class.
(Younger siblings under 1 year of age can come along for free).

The Newborn baby cafe in Horsham is different, as it is not paid for in advance. (We know what life is like with a newborn baby.) Instead, it is a weekly drop-in music session on Tuesday afternoons, starting with complimentary drinks and fairtrade biscuits, for 0-6 month olds and their carers. Find out more here.
